About Me

Software Developer (by trade). Mom (around the clock). Book Worm (by bedtime Kindle, in dark mode). Grammar Snob (by genetics). Craft Beer Enthusiast (by weekend). Harry Potter Nerd (for life). Caffeine Addict (by necessity). Cat Person (fur-ever).

On weekends you can find me at a local brewery, taking a (short, mild) hike in the greater NJ area, or at Target and Wegmans restocking the pantry. During the week I work remotely, converting coffee into code and keeping the mute button handy for when my kid decides to join standup.

What I Do

Front End and Back End

I build both the screens people click around in and the services behind them, mostly with React, Next.js and Node.

Data and Analytics

A lot of my job is fortune-telling: figuring out what data people will find useful, then tracking the right events and building the right widgets before anyone asks for them. That's meant plenty of Datadog dashboards, a fair amount of Mixpanel and a simple API that gets other teams the data they need.

Building with AI

These days I work alongside Claude to get from idea to working code quickly, which leaves more of my time for the parts that need a person: deciding what to build and why.
